Focus on getting as much XP and credits as you can and play for game win only in ranked. Unless you have some broken combo like Graf Zeppelin + AA cruiser, you’ll have near 50% overall, no matter what you do. This post is just an advice not to take winrate seriously. So I keep playing and actually like the game. Such thing is absent in Warships, as you can’t mindlessly rush into battle, die, just to queue in another ship, because ships are slow and time to kill is slow too (can’t 2-shot an ship like a tank). This was the dealbreaker in World of Tanks: purposeful bad play rewarded more over time than good play. As you can see, I’m rewarded for my good performance (even if not as good as I should be). Why is it not a problem? Because random battles are a grind for XP, credits and practice. It’s that the matchmaker gives me retarded teammates and no matter how much better I am than the average, I can’t carry them. Please note that it’s not an internal ranking like in League of Legends, if I’d face stronger opponents, my stats would be average. My overall winrate is near 50%, where the game tries to push everyone by rigging. The most atrocious is my favorite, the Yügumo, where I kill 19% more enemies and damage 41% more than the average player, yet I get less wins. This post was originally a “what am I playing now” post, listing my ships and stats, but that was thrown out when I saw this, comparing my statistics to the averages of the server:Īs you can see, I get more damage, kills and XP (which is how the game measures “goodness”) than the average player, let lower winrate. So I kind of expected that random battles in World of Warships are rigged and now I have the proof. My World of Tanks warning page is still there and my original World of Tanks is rigged post is still my second highest visited post (after Blue Ulduar). Somehow I didn’t expect anything coming from Wargaming to be free of rigging or ripoff.
